Welcome to Ira's Day Care
At Ira's Day Care, no two days are the same. We thrive to provide fun, exciting and playful environment as much as calm, consistent and safe to ensure children have the best of both worlds. We believe children are learning through play, exploration and discovery therefore we provide play-based learning to help children achieve their targeted learning outcomes. The educator's role is as a guide or facilitator who supports the child in the process of self-development, and an observer, carefully monitoring each child's development, recognising and interpreting each child's needs.
It has always been Ira's passion as an early childhood educator to source high quality educational resources to promote children's learning with open ended and play based wooden toys. She also runs the educational toys store called Growing Little Folks. This store aims to provide all parents and fellow educators the best learning resources that are natural, safe and sustainable for children. It brings Ira great joy to see the children's excitement and happy face when exploring natural and open ended materials.
