About

Ira's Day Care provides caring and nurturing environment for children 0-5 years in Box Hill NSW and is registered with Sydney Wide Family Day Care. The educator is qualified with Diploma of Early Childhood Education and First Aid & CPR certification. Ira started her family day care in January 2016 in Wolli Creek and relocated to Box Hill in January 2024. Ira has experience working in a child care centre for a year and decided to open family day care to give children the individual attention and care in a small group setting. The small group allows children to receive higher quality of care and low risk illnesses for your little one.

Ira's Day Care opens 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Our service can assist with Child Care Subsidy claim to Centrelink for eligible parents.

Parent Reviews

Ira's FDC is great! My boy started just after he turned to one year old. He loved it being there. Ira is very caring and loving person. She gives all the kids equal attention and love! And she always gives feedbacks about how kids are developed. And we can tell our boy has learnt a lot in her center and grown well. All kids there love her and even don't want to go home the end of the day. Definitely recommend parents who are looking for a daycare with a carer like Ira who is caring, loving, soft and worry free for you.

What are the benefits of Family Day Care?
IMG_9747.jpeg
IMG_1043.jpeg
  • Your child’s education and care is provided by an individual educator who is an approved, early childhood education and care professional, operating within their own home

  • The home-based setting provides a familiar, safe and secure learning environment

  • Educators work with small groups of no more than four children under school age

  • Current research confirms the importance of strong relationships with significant adults to a child’s early learning; family day care’s small group environment facilitates strong bonds and promotes effective early learning and social development

  • Educators work in partnership with a local coordination unit who provide regular visits to monitor the children’s progress and to provide support

"Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be."

My daughter has attended Ira's daycare for 1,5 years and I could not recommend Ira more. She is an extremely caring and patient lady who is really good with little babies and toddlers alike. My daughter loved Ira to bits, and it was amazing to see that Ira made sure every day was different with setting up various activities that helped with early learning. Ira was also very good at communicating with us parents, by sending photos regularly and generally being really responsive and flexible (which is something that is impossible at big daycare centres). I think my daughter will miss Ira greatly. Such a small structure is perfect for kids under 2 as it really feels like an extension of our family. - Amanda

"Our daughter attended Ira's Day Care for a little over a year. She loved every minute, and this was all down to the care, attention and love that Ira puts into every day. All children were made to feel special, and their unique personalities and needs were accounted for. Highly recommended! -Josh
